INFERIORITY COMPLEX- A MUST READ

Have you ever felt like being at a corner all by yourself or could not attend a particular event etc, due to something someone said, or a comment someone made?
Do you experience this more often ?
Are you most at times unhappy ☹️ due to such moments?

If you answered yes or no or not even sure? let us briefly understand what inferiority complex is, and if you see yourself as one then we find a solution together.

An acute sense of personal inferiority often resulting either in timidity or through over compensation in exaggerated aggressiveness is how the Merriam Webster defines inferiority complex.

A simpler definition of inferiority complex is a belief that you are less worthy or important than other people.

Now let us look 👀 at some of the things that causes inferiority complex.
The most famous cause behind feeling inferior is some event that happened somewhere in your past that made you think that you are inadequate or not worthy. Such events could be
* having different skin color than your peers ( example, finding that you are dark skinned while all of them are white and you are mocked for that.
*being called names like lazy or stupid by teachers and peers
*being handicapped while being made fun of for that reason
*coming from a lower social class than that of your peers

Some ways to overcome inferiority
First examine your past and find the root cause behind it if possible.
The greatest pitfall people usually fall in when searching for root cause of their inferiority feelings with any event that is going on in their lives such as not being successful, not having an expensive 🚘, not getting high grades or even having a beautiful girl friend.

So this is the first step, OVERCOMING INFERIORITY  BY KNOWING THE ROOT CAUSE BEHIND IT.

“Know your self, be happy about who you are, be content with what you have, be confident and let you be the change of environment wherever you find yourself.” MISS LAWUDI

Know that you might even be BETTER than the person you feel is  all in all or is making you feel inferior. MISS LAWUDI.

  2. Hmmm. This is story of my life dear. Though I'll take exception in some of instances you've stated in your piece; I continiously look down on myself because there's this little voice that always whispers to me 'you are just not good enough'. Silly as it may sound to some or but you can easily get rid of that voice as others may be quick to say. All I'll say is you are just not in my shoes. This thing constantly have me second guess myself and by extensiin my own ability. I haven't open this part of me to anyone. Your piece really spoke to me hence the feed back.
